About who needs care: We are visiting for the week and are looking for care support a few hours each day. Generally 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thanksgiving not required. My husband has ALS and cannot speak. He can transfer with assistance and is ambulatory but slow with impaired stability. He needs help with feeding and some hygiene tasks. Previous ALS or similar related experience preferred. About the care needs: Looking for someone calm and fairly quiet, hardworking, caring and positive. Skills -experience with bolus feeding and working with non-verbal clients a plus. Services needed include: transportation, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
