About who needs care: Worked as a program analyst for the last 20 years of her 40-year work history. Loves reading, gardening, and family time. Will need help administering medication orally by using vanilla or strawberry yogurt/pudding is helpful. There are a few allergies. Loved one does pretty well with a small task for a limited short period of time. More to discuss during interview. About the care needs: Patience!!! Also knowing how to use specific vocabulary to help redirect attention. During sundowning, knowing how to help mitigate agitation. Being creative with activities that help keep and build cognitive skill sets.
