Friend And Companion For My Mother

About who needs care: My mother is an amazing women and just needs a friend and someone to help her with some things. She has a Masters degree, but has declined since my sister (who used to live there) unexpectedly died last year. My Dad, her husband died in 2011. I live in Long Beach, CA and it's tough. I am looking for someone who is patient and can help with her iPhone from time to time, help with her ledger and password books, etc. She has 2 cats and 1 dog (they were my sister's cat and dog). If someone could walk the dog with her a couple times a week that would be amazing. He (the dog) is energetic and it's too hard for my mother to walk him alone. Someone around 40ish or older who can relate to her, but not make her "feel old". Services needed include: errands / shopping, light housekeeping, possible laundromat and companionship.
