My aunt and uncle are quite a pair: she has moderate Alzheimer's and he is wheelchair bound and has diabetes. She needs a lot of attention and supervision plus help in the bathroom and other daily tasks. He needs wheelchair transfer assistance, diaper changing, sponge baths, plus checking his blood sugar and administering insulin (he's able to direct you but his hands are not steady enough to do it himself). Both need to be given their medications. There is also a dog that needs to be fed and let outside and put in her crate. This will probably be relatively short term, until one or both of them go into assisted living, which is hopefully soon. Right now we have about a 36 hour gap in care, so we're looking for a daytime person (7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday) and a night person (7 p.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Sunday to 7 a.m. Monday).
