About who needs care: My Grandpa has lewy-body dementia He's not aggressive or physical He sits on the couch and watches TV or naps He should attempt light PT exercises but he refuses to with me, hopefully, you have patience and can be successful Typically I'm at his house on Mondays, Thursdays & Fridays but my job wants me to come to the office more often and my Aunt does not have the option to work remotely. It would be helpful to have someone there Tues-Thursday from 9:30am-2:30 p.m. to keep him company and motivate him to complete his PT exercises. The dementia right now affects more of his mobility, balance, and mood. It affects his eyesight so he cannot read or do crossword puzzles like he used to enjoy. If you have any ideas on how to get his brain moving that would be awesome. He does have bathroom accidents but we're trying to encourage him to wear depends. He doesn't need assistance typically with using the restroom and can eat and drink on his own. He makes a breakfast sandwich in the microwave every day and drinks a boost shake. Might have to help him with making lunch if he wants it.
