About who needs care: My dad is diagnosed with dementia. He is so far still functioning and wants to drive, but he keeps forgetting where he parked and doesn't remember he has gone places multiple times in a row. He is very independent and still doesn't think he needs any help. My mom is also there, but she is often hurting from fibromyalgia and just injured her back. I know my dad does most of the cleaning and laundry still. They go out to dinner a lot. I'm not sure what to do for them. Sometimes things are fine, but other times he cant remember what is happening. They have lived in their home for 46 years and dont want to leave. About the care needs: Very patient and kind. Willing to listen to the same thing over again. They like music and musicals and my dad likes science and dancing. My mom loves to read. Services needed include: transportation.
