Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Florence

About who needs care: My mother has been having back issues where she cannot move. My Dad is trying his best but with family on the east coast it is hard for us to get out there and help as often as we would like to. Right now she really needs assistance getting into a standing position to be able to get to the bathroom. My father has had to drive her to all her appointments which has not been a huge problem but I am concerned about it becoming a little too much for him to take care of her by himself. He would be able to give more of a schedule than I can as I am across the country and not being told the whole story but I do know as the daughter that it is becoming very difficult and both my parents can use just a little bit of extra help. About the care needs: I would really just like someone who is kind hearted and can handle an older woman who is in A LOT of pain. When my mom is in the amount of pain that she is she cries and very doubtful with herself. I would need someone who would be able to just talk to her and take their time with her. I need someone who understands the proper ways to assist a senior citizen in getting up without causing further injury to themselves. My mom does use a walker and is absolutely capable of taking care of herself when she is not in the amount of pain that she is in. Due to this pain she tends to get frustrated very easily, does wear hearing aids and is in the beginning stages of dementia. She loves playing cards, train, and talking to her family, especially her granddaughter out here in NH. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
