About who needs care: My step-mother will be having shoulder replacement at the end of March. My father is blind. We'll need someone to come in the mornings to help set them up for the day, organize meals, and do any miscellaneous things that may be required. Both individuals are able to perform their ADLs on their own but my father is unable to prepare meals and my step mother will be unable to do so post-surgery. Both are cognitively very sharp and independent-minded. Oh, and they're really nice! About the care needs: Someone who is prompt, organized, and friendly. Pat and Peter read a lot and love music. No specialized skills are needed other than a positive frame of mind. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
