About who needs care: Disabled with Rheumatoid arthritis for 50 years. Not related: pain in ankle/achilles non weight bearing. Neck pain. Shoulder pain. Torn rotator cuff. In bed or recliner most of day/night. Use of walker to stand & pivot to wheelchair. Wheelchair at desk to eat, work puzzles, play games on iPad. Watches TV programs round the clock. Loves sports and game shows, and news. About the care needs: He is good natured, grateful and thankful most of time. Pain can make him frustrated. He is very particular in how things need to be, or be done(and thats for his comfort because weve gone through the figuring out phases). He has fragile skin. Need somebody that has compassion, can speak clearly & loudly to make sure he understands, is patient with him and methodical. A big heart and loving would be great too. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
