About who needs care: He has parkinsons and diabetes. He is mobile and uses a walker in the house. He has a routine of watching tv, loves sports. Just needs someone to prepare his food and possibly use walker to wheel him to the bathroom. He can take care of himself and will let the person know when he is ready to be wheeled back to the couch. Breakfast just needs to be microwaved and I will have snacks on the counter he can have and there are salads prepared in the refrigerator. Dinner will be handled by my son who will care for him at night and weekend. Just looking for care on Friday, October 11th and Monday October 14th. I will return on Monday afternoon. Additionally, we have two yorkies and it will require letting them in and out in the backyard as they need. About the care needs: someone talkative, likes sports. Tasks are simple; to use walker and wheel him to restroom when needed, microwave breakfast, provide lunch (will have a ready made salad), let our yorkies (2) in and out to back yeard as needed. My husband wears a libre 3 for his diabetes. I will have directions as to when insulin may be needed but the caregiver should be comfortable to provide insulin shot if needed. Insulin is taken as needed. I have his medication premeasured and my husband is good about taking and has alarms on his phone. Just need caregiver to watch and make sure he takes his meds. Caregiver should be an extroverted personality, as my husband would love to talk to people, comfortable administering insulin if needed (I will have instructions about amount), comfortable with dogs (mine are very friendly inside dogs) Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
