My grandmother, Marianne, is an 86-year-old stroke survivor with a recent cancer diagnosis. A recent hospital stay has weakened her a bit so she's currently needing more assistance around the house. She uses a walker to get around her house and a manual wheelchair for outings to medical appointments. We're still figuring out what help she would need day-to-day but most likely would need help transferring, assistance with food prep, some self-hygiene care, assistance going to medical appointments, and general help around the house. She would also love someone who could lend an ear. She is sharp and witty and loves her cats dearly. Marianne loves to cook and likes antiques, shopping, and documentaries. There is a driveway with plenty of room to park your car here. Marianne has 3 cats. All cats are friendly and would not harm a stranger.
