About who needs care: My spine was completely severed in Aug 2023. My wife has been providing care, but she must have an operation at the end of Aug 2024 and was told to not lift more than 2 lbs for at least 4-6 weeks. I have NO feeling from my waist to my feet and I cannot walk. I need minimal medical care (peri-care, cleaning around a supra-pubic, etc) morning and night and assistance getting in and out of bed. I also need shower assistance every 2-3 nights. About the care needs: I would prefer to have a CNA that I can count on morning and night. Or, one in the morning and another at night. A joking personality would be a plus! Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
