About who needs care: Experiencing vascular dementia. Retired nurse. Needs help remembering to take meds. Help with house work especially vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, dusting. Main need is really just companionship. She just doesn't like being alone. Also she can get around on her own, but is somewhat unstable. Does not need help in shower but someone nearby in case. About the care needs: She is generally nice but when she is having a hard time focusing, following a train of thought she gets a bit argumentative. Like she will ask about something and the answer doesn't make sense to her, she will blame the messenger so to speak. She used to sew, like to draw, painting, and coloring. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
