About who needs care: Her name is Kristine M, she is disabled due to broken hip, has equipment to move her around. Elbert M. her husband, does live in the home and works in his body shop next door, he helps her as much as he can, but she does not want him changing her. She is one of those types that says she doesn't need anything but really does, people pleaser as you can say. Since Mrs. M. works she gets lonely, not a whole lot of family visits besides her daughters and sons, one of her daughters was her full-time caregiver but her husband was diagnosed with dementia so he's a handful. Its becoming to hard for her with her age in mid 70s but she still comes and takes care of Kristine. Getting her to do things like activities or asking if she needs something will be difficult at times, she is depressed and honestly all she wants is to be heard. She really is a sweet ole lady but has her down days. She needs someone that is positive minded, patient, and willing to push her to do things besides sit in her chair or bed like go outside for instance, but she does like to help around in the kitchen at times, engaging in things like that would be a good start. Things she needs done will be Changed in the mornings breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Medicine Administration Housekeeping and laundry And a compassionate nurse with a listening ear. Family members do drop off food often and help as much as they can and will contribute in other needs. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
