Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother

About who needs care: My mother is currently 79 years old. She recently had a hip replacement and will need some periodic help doing basic household chores (light cleaning, meal prep, etc...) as well as potentially some help with hygiene while her hip replacement surgery wound heals. She loves games (especially card games). About the care needs: My mother has been very independent to this point and is very set in her ways. Therefore, the ideal caregiver would be someone who could engage her and make her feel like the individual is more of a friend than a caregiver. At the same time, the ideal candidate will be someone who can make sure she follows through on her post-surgery regimen. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
