About who needs care: Mother is 80 years old and is still able to get around on a limited basis with her walker/cane/wheelchair. She needs a companion for 4 hours during the weekdays to assist with her daily needs around home. About the care needs: Shifts are 4 hours in the morning during the week. Occasionally assistance may be needed after those normal hours if it is possible. Friendly companion to assist mother in getting her up and about, checking her vitals, preparing her breakfast, giving her pre-prepared medication, light housekeeping, helping remember medical appointment dates, basically need someone to take the liberty to assist wherever there is a need. Will need to be pet friendly. Services needed include: meal preparation, light housekeeping, bathing / dressing, checking vitals, and assisting with medication.
