Hands-on Care For 67 Year Old Father

After a very bad accidental fall in January 2024, my father in law is currently paraplegic. He was released early April from Rehab. He is currently receiving in home PT and attempting to regain the ability to walk however he is currently wheelchair bound. He is unable to control his urine/bowel movements as well at the moment. Need help with showering. Need help with moving from bed to chair to couch, etc... We do have an electric Hoyer lift. He can somewhat feed himself but does need someone to prep the meals as far as cutting food, etc. Would possibly need someone to transport to and from medical visits, but unsure about that at the moment. He did not lose any mental capacity; he can speak and relate to everything just fine. He is still able to work from his phone and computer His daily structure may vary from day to day but we are open to creating a consistent schedule. Would need someone able to lift and maneuver a 6ft tall man approx. 215lbs easily. Someone lighthearted, easy going, someone who can take a joke would be best. He is only 67 so he's not a mean, old man, haha. Someone who loves what they're doing and can appreciate the unfortunate and sudden position he and the rest of the family has been put in due to the accident. We really just want someone we can trust and provide sincere care.
