Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Millbrook

About who needs care: Mom has Dementia, Kidney Disease (stage 3/4), COPD, and Afib. She typically sleeps all but about 3 or 4 hours per day. Would need someone to essentially be present in the house with her, take care of making sure she takes her meds (twice a day) and eats. She has a dog -- lab/pitt mix (sweetheart of a dog - has never bitten anyone), so managing the dog's schedule (feedings and letting her out) are also needed. Housekeeping is not required. Meals will be provided and will need to be prepared (sandwiches) or reheated. About the care needs: Mom is outgoing and loves talking; but she is very hard of hearing, and has trouble remembering words. No specialized skills. Mom used to love to read and work Find-a-Word puzzles, but doesn't do either anymore. She worked in church work for 40 years, and has lost husband and both sons. She does not dwell on any of that. Someone kind, friendly, and patient would be great. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
