Hands-on Care Needed For My Husband In Huntsville

About who needs care: My husband is recovering from open heart surgery. It is taking a long time. He's been through rehab, but still needs help doing almost everything, although he can walk with assistance. We both expect that he'll slowly get better. He's been home from Encompass Rehab about four days. I am in treatment for renal cancer and need a lot of sleep. We are both adjusted to a later schedule. I'm looking for someone to handle his caregiving early in his day. About the care needs: This person can deal with our schedule. They need to be strong and willing to work hard. A basic knowledge of therapy procedures and nursing tech. This job includes changing poopy diapers, must be okay with doing that. Must be easy going about my smoking. Must be okay working without me in the room, once we have things established, so that I can sleep. We have all the needed equipment and supplies. We are both Democrats with zero tolerance for any sort of bigotry. Services needed include: transportation, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
