About who needs care: Hello! I am looking for someone to monitor 87 yo female with dementia. She is very independent & likes to piddle around the house & in the yard. Family will administer meds, take to doc appts, & provide groceries, medical supplies, etc. She is currently receiving home health services as well. Primary caregiver/Granddaughter (myself) needs undistracted time to work remotely & go into office on Tuesdays. We are looking for someone patient to monitor her at home to prevent falls/injuries; she frequently needs reminders to wash hands, use walkers, rest, etc.
About the care needs: Ideal caregiver would be a patient, positive female with experience sitting with elderly dementia patients & doesn't mind daily walks outside. I have 1 indoor cat, so prefer someone that likes cats (minimally not allergic/sensitive).
Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
