Hi... veteran looking for transportation for myself in my 60s. Scheduled for foot surgery on December 20th at the VA Medical Center here in Martinsburg. I can get to the hospital beforehand, but they will not release me after surgery without a companion. A rideshare service is not allowed, so I need to hire someone who can drive me home after and will act as my "escort". I don't have a specific time of day yet, which I know makes it difficult. I was told earlier that a specific time won't be provided until three days before. Trying to find someone who would be available on short notice to pick me up at the VA and bring me back to my apartment in Martinsburg.
