About who needs care: She has dementia, her hobbies are not as much anymore. She used to love to go for walks and birdwatch. She loved other pets and was an amazing cook. She kept a very well house and raised all 6 of her children. She loved going for rides last summer in the convertible. For structuring the day it would be getting up in the late morning and eating breakfast and using the restroom along with a shower. Spending time watching tv and maybe some small amount of activity to keep movement. Lunch and restroom breaks. Then more tv and restroom breaks. Potentially as the weather breaks she can go back outside and enjoy the outdoors again. We have a few small steps but I think that would be nice to have. She is in her last years so we just want to make her as comfortable and happy as possible. About the care needs: Someone who is compassionate and caring. Someone who knows what needs to get done and does it. Lucy at this point doesn't always want to take showers or use the restroom however that is essential of course. Currently she is only on pill medication so there is nothing on that end. If they have a background in elder care that would be great. No specific hobbies are required. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
