About the job
About who needs care: We need someone to help our family care for him during our work hours and possibly more. M is 80yrs old and is diagnosed with a bone marrow disease. This makes him very weak, lethargic, and has failure to thrive. He will need help with taking his medications ( by mouth), dressing, bathing, toileting. He will eat, but only if served. He ambulates with a walker. He needs to be motivated to move out of bed in the morning to sit up in his living room. We will clean and make meals, and do laundry and all household tasks. About the care needs: A good fit for him would be someone with a calm demeanor, but motivative personality. If there was someone who loves sports that would be perfect. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
