About who needs care: My wife has been in an assisted living facility for the last 4 years. She doesn't need health care, but I'm looking for someone to visit her and give me advice as to what I could do to make her life more pleasant. Suggestions as to how to arrange her belongings in her room, any spa-type services that would come to her, things that I could purchase for her (in short, a woman's input as to how to make her environment more comfortable). She is severely limited in terms of mobility: she needs staff to clean and change her hospital gown, and staff has to use a hoyer to get her out of bed and into her wheelchair, and she rarely leaves her room. I don't know if these are things that anyone does, but if so, I'd be interested in at least one visit and perhaps more, if appropriate. About the care needs: Easygoing and open to the challenge of suggesting ways as to how to make my wife's time a bit more enjoyable, as well as a compassionate person who doesn't judge others (my wife has many health issues: diabetes, obesity, incontinence, heart disease). Services needed include: companionship.
