I need a companion care provider with Alzheimer's / Dementia experience for my father in his 80s. Assistance with medication is needed. One of your responsibilities will be helping with bathing. We're looking for someone to provide companionship. Duties include transportation (doctor's appointments, errands, etc.). Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained. Weekdays 5hrs/day Pick up and drop to day care - 7 a.m. - 9 a.m. & Pick up from daycare and companion care - 5-8 p.m. Weekends: 10-12hrs/ day -- Take him for a walk or coffee etc play chess Start 8 a.m. End: 6 - 8 p.m. It would be pick up in the mornings to take him to day care, then pick him up in the evening and be with him for a couple hours while my mom gets back from work.
