About who needs care: My mom & step dad need some personal cares, memory care(for him) transportation to appts and light house work and preparing small breakfasts and lunch. About the care needs: My step dad has cancer and the beginning signs of dementia. My mom is more independent but uses a walker. She may have the beginning stages of ms but we are still getting tests done. My step dad needs help walking and uses a wheelchair chair as he rebuilds his legs. Hospice nurses come twice a week and deal with bandaging and showering needs for step dad. My mom is independent in the bathroom but mainly needs someone close by in case she slips. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
