About who needs care: 85 widow with parkinsons. Insists on living in her home. Would need assistance showering, heating up meals, small tasks. She is very unstable and uses a walker but a big fall risk. She has lots of family but it's becoming too much for them. She sleeps with a Pure Wick incontinence machine so she does not get out of bed during the night. She just needs assistance throughout the day and evening till she's safely tucked into bed. About the care needs: Mom is very sweet and friendly but very private so resistant to someone coming into her home. The person best suited would be friendly, competent, nurturing and physically capable of supporting her in case of a fall or assistance. Mom also naps a lot. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
