About who needs care: Has mild Parkinsons symptoms and some weakness that makes some hand tasks and heavier lifting (dishes pots, pans, flower vases, firewood, chopping food, opening packages, showering, etc) slow or difficult and also at times needs personal hygiene help. Ideally someone who can come for an hour or two each day to help with a few daily tasks, possibly meal prep, and assist or guide stretching and assigned PT exercises. Does not need to stay over. Occasionally available to help take to Seattle for doctors appointments would be a big plus. About the care needs: Someone who respects the care recipients autonomy and independence while finding ways to make general life easier and enjoyable. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
