About who needs care: Currently confined to a hospital bed. She likes to read and play games on her iPad. At present she needs help to get food or drink, changing positions to avoid bedsores, and occasional changing of Depends. Hopefully soon, she will be able to stand again. At that point she will need help to transfer from bed to chair, and eventually to go to the toilet. I (husband) am the sole family caregiver, and a visiting nurse recommended respite care to get me out for a bit. About the care needs: Cheerful & positive. Not overly religious. Terri loves dragons, and reading fantasy books about them. Plays games on her iPad when she is able. She has Parkinsons, so we have engaged with PT & OT to help her regain mobility Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
