Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Seattle

About who needs care: My dad is good natured and complains little. He doesn't get bored, but he doesn't do much... he is perfectly happy sitting in his chair looking out the window or playing solitaire on his computer. I would like him to have a bit more structure... shower and dress by 10, go on a walk (weather dependent before lunch), read the paper, do a puzzle (Sudoku)... His memory is starting to go, but he is pretty open about what he does and does not remember. I think he forgets that he has or hasn't eaten and eats out of boredom. We live together, so I try to provide daytime meals and suggest activities, but I cannot sit with him all the time. About the care needs: Friendly, calm, patient, helpful... I don't want Dad to feel like he needs to host somebody. He currently has a catheter, and needs help cleaning the catheter, showering and dressing. He used to garden a ton, but now has problems bending over or standing for too long. He's not much of a reader (except for the paper). We are German, so international exposure or curiosity would be nice. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
