About who needs care: My mother is a Turkish only speaking 82-year-old woman who lives with me. I occasionally need respite care for when I need to run errands or tend to appointments. She needs assistance with walking her to the bathroom every now and then as she is a fall risk. Shell need food prepared and brought. Changing of channels on the television, and light housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, wiping). Shell mainly want a warm body who sits near her to assure her that she is safe and not alone. About the care needs: Someone who is comfortable in a house with cats and dogs. Dogs will be in another room. Someone who is patient, and kind. Light hearted and positive. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
