About the job
We need 24/7 caregiving for approximately one month with the possibility of on-going positions going forward. We are a gay couple who have been together for 41 years and are married. We live in Montlake near Cafe Lago. One of us is the current caregiver for the other but will be undergoing surgery in October so we need help during the hospital stay and recovery. Typical home health aide duties (some hands-on care, light housekeeping, light meal prep, transportation, errands, laundry, change linens, etc.). English fluency required. 8- hour shifts. Prefer independent contractor relationship. Certification requested. Special consideration for students and experience. Non-smoker. We have a senior yellow lab. Must be comfortable with the LGBTQ community. Start and end date TBD depending on surgery date which we will know in the next week.
