About who needs care: My mother is mostly wheelchair bound, but can walk for a few minutes at a time with a walker. Her vision is mostly gone and we would like someone to help her with eating and reading letters and news articles in addition to providing general companionship. About the care needs: My mother loves to talk about herself, so it would help to have someone who enjoys hearing stories and listening to cares. She also enjoys talking about world events, so someone who is well-spoken and likes to read news articles would be preferable. The candidate should also be comfortable dealing with senior living facility staff if there are any concerns about my mother's health and well being.
