About the job
I need a compassionate caregiver for full time and, preferably, live-in care. Our care concerns are: Light Housekeeping, Mobility Assistance, Help Staying Physically Active, Bathing / Dressing, Heavy Lifting, Meal Preparation, Companionship, Errands / Shopping, and Transportation for medical appointments if family is not available to assist. My mother is 69-years-old and has Parkinson's Disease with mild dementia. Over the years we have had part-time caregivers, her spouse, and daughter care for her needs but her daughter is leaving for college. We really need a full-time caregiver and prefer live-in. Working hours are flexible because family is available certain days of the week. We have a bedroom available that would of course be rent free. My mother is a high fall risk and needs 1:1 care most hours of the day.
