About the job
We need hands-on care for my father in Port Orchard. He needs assistance with getting out of bed as his muscle structure does not allow him to walk or stand on his own. Lifting him and transfer from wheel chair to bed or other chairs requires strength to make the transfer comfortably. Care includes: transfer from bed to wheel chair, dressing, showering, meals, incontinence, and medicine reminders. He is not suffering Dementia. Preference will be given for licensed caregivers: HHA (Home Health Aides) or PCA (Personal Care Assistant) or Nurses Assistant (CNA). Prefer non-smoker. We need care seven days a week 12 hours a day. We will need to hire two people in these roles to supply care, 3-4 days a week for each individual. This means 40 hours a week for both care givers. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker.
