About who needs care: 69 yo obese female in wheelchair 24/7. Recent right hip surgery and awaiting left hip surgery. Then needing knee surgery. Assistance needed now and after surgeries with walking with walker. We require assistance with housework, cooking, wound care, and help moving and organizing items such as craft items, etc. Health is getting worse while awaiting surgery. Insomnia and chronic fatigue now. Depression setting in and causing marital problems. Husband's physical and emotional health is worsening due to stress and having to do everything. About the care needs: Someone with good sense of humor and likes to socialize but does not let it interfere with duties. I like crafts and quilting, so that would be nice. Would like if she could do some overnights if family emergency occurs. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
