About who needs care: Dad has mild to moderate cognitive impairment and mostly needs someone to talk to while I work. There would be occasional evenings so I could get some respite time. He has difficulty walking and uses a cane in the house and will use a walker outside of the house. He also has an ostomy but at this time can take care of his bathroom routine unassisted. About the care needs: Someone skilled with memory care is ideal, and they should have a good sense of humor as he likes to joke. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
