About who needs care: He has Parkinson's. He prefers a female assistant. He has Early Cognitive Impairment, no behaviors, some physical manifestations, forgetful at times, unpredictable confusion, and sometimes has a hard time finding the words or gets a little lost in conversation. About the care needs: Easy going, patient, able to take direction, able to deal with a midwestern type mentality, and someone who is willing to deal with somewhat eccentric, OCD behaviors. My dad likes the outdoors, tv shows, food, gardening and is catholic. He will need someone who is willing to do things the way that he sees fit. Someone polite and doesn't curse (at least in front of him.) Someone who communicates well with family. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
