About the job
My father was recently diagnosed with Atypical Parkinson's- PSP. Looking for a LIVE-IN caregiver to start in May or June when current caregiver leaves. He does not require 24 hour supervision but does have a high fall risk and needs someone to assist and if he does have a fall. Vehicle will be available for your use to take him around and use personally. Your tasks would include meals, taking to appointments, medication assistance, assistance dressing (as needed), assistance in/out of the shower, and basic companionship and care to that will help allow him to stay in his home for hopefully another year or as long as possible. Perfect opportunity for someone going to school, also open to single parent or couple if the right fit. Private room and bathroom provided. Tv, internet, food, and weekly pay provided.
