About the job
For who: My mom in her mid-80s has had recent surgeries which have limited her mobility, but she does well on a walker and can bathe on her own, move around, etc. She's experiencing more short-term memory impairment and can't drive any longer. Needs light housekeeping, meal preps, grocery shopping trips, pill preps/reminders, possible companionship if all works well. She likes Brit TV, crocheting, and has one sweet cat, Blanca. Flexible on hours (1-2) in the morning and/or afternoon as her needs dictate. About the care needs: Good fits would be older ladies (or men too), basically anyone who respects boundaries, listens well and is generally pleasant in demeanor - pushiness and impatience won't work in this case. Services needed include: transportation, meal/med prep or prompts, errands/shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
