About the job
We are looking for a home aid to work with my aging parents. My father is getting finished with 6 months of cancer treatments and coming home from the hospital soon. He uses a walker and wheelchair, but is independent(mostly) using both. He is independent with self-care needs. We need someone who can help with the following tasks: driving to and from doctors appointments in area, light household chores (emptying garbages, tidying up- they have a house keeper once a week), running errands (i. e. grocery store etc...) possible simple meal prep, walking their dog, getting my dad to exercise (taking a walk) just general assistance. They may also need gentle reminders to take their medications. My mom is also independent but has mobility issues that keep her from helping much with day to day household needs. hours can vary
