Seeking a trained, professional caregiver to drive my elderly parents to and from doctor's appointments. My parents are in their 80s, physically frail, and mobility-impaired. They reside in a Federal Way assisted living community. One of them has Alzheimer's but is still coherent. You would need a car suitable for transporting someone with limited physical flexibility (a subcompact wouldn't work). You'd also need to be comfortable loading our folding wheelchair into the rear of your vehicle for transportation to and from appointments. There are currently 3-6 doctors appointments each month, on varying days of the week. Some light housekeeping would be required. The caregiver would need to have professional references and some form of professional training or certification.
