About who needs care: Her dementia has been getting worse, her osteoporosis has gotten to the point she cannot lift very much. She is very forgetful and we are concerned she will the oven on or hurt herself in some way. I think she will need some help with her medication. Taking it at the right time and proper dose. She forgets to take it, or that she has taken it already. She will need help with meals. She does not get up til late morning, so I don't think morning meals would be an issue. She loves to read and will do so all day. I would like for her to go for a walk, even a short one everyday. She skips meals, or forgets, and claims to not be hungry or thirsty. She gets dehydrated often, so I would like someone to encourage her to drink more water. She did recently fracture some disc's in her spine, so the next 6-8 weeks will be crucial to help her, especially to the bathroom, getting around, and helping her with some of the aforementioned things. About the care needs: Just a nice, kind person that doesn't mind repeating themselves often. My mom is a very sweet lady. She does not ask for much, until something is really wrong. Figuring out if something is the matter is somewhat difficult at times. If you have some background in assisting someone with a recent injury or some physical therapy that could be super helpful Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
