Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Camano Island

About who needs care: We are trying to find someone who can stop in to help my parents a few days/week. My dad is 88, mom is 83 and they live on area. They are mostly independent but are getting older and need help with: light chores - taking trash/recycle down to street and back up to home, basic meal prep, returning books to library for my mom, grocery pick-up, and someone who can check in on them a few times/week. About the care needs: Someone who is patient and has experience being with older people. Someone who is vetted through a background check so my dad feels comfortable with a helper in home who isn't family. Someone who has excellent communication skills who can text / call me or one of my 3 brothers to update us regularly, someone who has medical / nursing experience would be a plus. My dad drives to dialysis 3/week but may be shifting to home dialysis and it would be nice to have another person available to check on him other than my mom. My dad has no cognitive deficits, my mom has some short-term memory loss. My dad currently does all the grocery shopping and is still driving.
