An ideal day includes assisting Phyllis with her chores and basic clean up. Making sure she eats a healthy lunch and takes any medications. Asking her what activities she would like to do and providing a few examples or strong suggestions. Her days are typically relaxed so there's not always a structure. Our goal is for Phyllis to stay active. She is very sweet and gentle natured, but comfortable with the familiar. She enjoys reading, doing puzzles, and easy crafts. We are hoping someone can go on small excursions, light exercise etc. We're also open to suggestions! We are looking for someone with experience working with Alzheimer's disease. We would like to ensure that she gets the enrichment she needs to stay as healthy as possible. Their home has parking. They have one dog, a 4-year-old basset hound who loves people.
