About who needs care: Diagnosed with Alzheimers in advanced stages. Uses a walker throughout house and wheelchair outside. Needs help with making food, and occasional incontinence. Hours would most likely be 10am-1 p.m. And more than likely to increase as her diagnosis progresses. About the care needs: She is really in need of a companion and friendship, she becomes attached very quickly and dependent on others. Caregiver needs to have patience and extra kindness. Experience with Alzheimers would be best. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
