About who needs care: He has Parkinsons/Dementia. Dementia is pretty bad. He needs assistance with dressing, guidance eating, bathroom and walking. He does sleep a lot too. Falls frequently as his spatial is off. He cant prepare any food or pour drinks etc. He has difficulty remembering where anything is. Somedays he is better and walks and his speech is better too. He has a hard time finding words for what he is trying to say. He loves company! And talking about his Navy days. His ideal day would be having company and talking about his farm he had, looking at pictures of family and going for a ride or sitting outside on a nice day. He likes to hear other peoples stories too. He loves talking to other veterans as well. About the care needs: A positive happy caring personality. Specialized skills-They would need to be able to assist him when/if needed. He weighs around 160. He needs assistance getting up from the chair at times and for when he falls. Hobbies- He use to play golf and loves watching sports on tv. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
