About the job
I'm looking for care for my mother in her 80s who has Alzheimer's disease. Experience with dementia and Alzheimer's is preferred. She requires a lot of patience. Transportation to her Day program in your vehicle will be necessary. Medication prompting and helping her get ready by redirecting her is required. Please be willing to do light housekeeping. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion. We might ask you to run errands now and then. Preferences for a caregiver who is CPR / first-aid trained. If you are able to come spend time with her on a Saturday or Sunday once or twice a month, that is a plus.
