Does not want help from impatient or ignorant people Is repulsed by long fingernails Is retired RN Likes dogs and cats but currently has no pets except for a grand dog that visits on occasion with daughter. Gets up around 8, does some exercises, brushes teeth, washes face and hands, gets dressed. May not have breakfast until noon or so. Has oatmeal for breakfast almost every day; is concerned about constipation and tries to avoid it with diet. Has a daily devotion before breakfast, always says grace before a meal. Has a very strong desire to be as independent as possible, is not wanting to be waited Mom can get along with anyone but, ideally, her care companion would be smart, thoughtful, observant and healthy. Non smoker, not obese, healthy Good humor, calm demeanor, tidy, honest, patient. Above all, kind. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
