About the job
About who needs care: Pleasant & cooperative L side paralysis from stroke. Cannot sit up or remain sitting up on her own. Hoyer lift used. Slight dementia. Incontinent of both. Can feed self if the meal isn't too messy. Willing to split shifts/days between 2 or 3 aides. Unsure of specific hours yet. Still figuring out what works best. She loves talking about gardening and used to have a massive one at her house. About the care needs: Someone who has a great, silly sense of humor, and is physically strong. Need trained nursing assistant to give patient occasional bed baths, change when soiled, change clothes, assist with Hoyer lift, transfers, and meal supervision/feeding. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
